Firstly PLEASE forgive me for my lack of blogging.
I have been somewhat distracted by loud children, constant food on my shirt and sleepless nights. Now that I finally sit down to the computer I can only stare at the white blank document before me and fall asleep…well I am still typing.
Despite all of this, little boys are a blessing and most of all they make me laugh!
No matter how crazy life gets around us it is so important to just stop and breathe.
Even as I write this I’m telling my mind to be quiet and rest for a minute. With so many distractions these days it seems harder to focus on what is truly important and what we are living for.
I just want to share with you guys a small exert from my book and the story behind the song as I was writing it,
‘The Story’.
Sometimes we become so complacent with His (Jesus) story that we forget how real it was and how so many got to witness His power and love.
I tried to be quiet so I didn’t wake my little boy but it was a moment that I can’t really explain and probably never will but I felt such emotion in my heart and couldn’t stop singing the words Holy, Holy.
When my husband came home that day I showed Him the song. I sung louder than I did before and feeling full conviction in my heart that this is everything that I believe in, everything I live my life for. In this one moment; my Lord and Saviour came to save my life; through the pain of His death and the wonder of His life.
As I share more about this song and the album in these videos, I hope that this will be a blessing to you guys wherever you may be today.

It’s the beginning of a new year and new adventures….at least that’s how I try and look at it.
I don’t like to have any new years resolutions cause (to be honest) I know I probably wont stick to them. I think the best thing is to continue to live everyday the best you can. Things don’t always go as we planned but I’m encouraged to know that God is a God of miracles and my faith is in the fact that His way is perfect. So I’m not sure if this is a resolution however my prayer is still and always that I may see Him more clearly.
I know sometimes we reach the end of a year and feel somewhat relieved that it’s over, just hoping the next will be better. Maybe instead of placing your hope in the new year or in any resolutions, place your hope each day in God.
This is the only way to attain true joy and peace in any adventures that life may bring!!!
